Assembler Aircraft A - What youll be doing

Performs a wide variety of production and/or experimental assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft.
Makes necessary layouts fabricates and fits component parts; installs fits and adjusts all types of parts and assemblies where difficult and diversified installations alignments or adjustments are necessary
Makes difficult repairs and alterations per design changes removing the required parts and making replacements.
The incumbent may be required to work from blueprints or project sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixtures and should be able to perform a majority of the assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft.
May be required to do riveting on sub-assemblies or installations which he is working on.
Performs all around landing gear installations and adjustments.

Skills you bring to this role

Aircraft mechanics tools wrenches hammers pliers levels clamps rigging equipment drills shears templates fixtures files and a variety of measuring instruments.

What you need to be successful

Three (3) years of aircraft assembly experience.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder) Political Asylee or Refugee.
