Assembler- 2nd Shift

This position reports to:

The work model for the role is: Onsite Flowery Branch GA

Your role and responsibilities:

• Assemble and build electric motors and subassemblies by installing rotors stators brackets brush rigging cable caps brakes tachometers blower motors and other accessories according to specifications.
• Test inspect and troubleshoot motors by performing routine electrical and mechanical tests completing required documentation and correcting defects identified during assembly or testing.
• Finish and prepare products for shipment by machining and fitting components as needed painting to customer requirements applying nameplates labels and warning tags conducting final inspections and crating motors.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on assembly equipment following safe factory practices and applying knowledge of motor assembly techniques and basic shop mathematics.

Qualifications for the role:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 Year of industrial or military experience or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred with the ability to set high performance standards for self and others.
• Adaptability and organization: Highly organized detail-oriented and adaptable to change with a willingness to cross-train and maintain a positive team-focused attitude.
• Technical and operational proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization. Proficiency in reading speaking and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
