JOB SUMMARY:

Assemble and/or install a variety of major and minor subassemblies parts and systems as directed. Typical parts are engine and transmission assemblies radiators transfer cases auxiliary transmission axles air systems hydraulic steering electric lines valves tanks brackets linkages tinware etc. May install hitches bodies graders or other equipment where assembly is predetermined.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cut fit bend and adjust parts for fit or function as directed.
• Drill ream or tap holes for mounting or clearance as directed.
• Measure wire tubing or hose paths and cut tubing to length as directed.
• Fill batteries and accessory grease points as directed.
• Start up engine check dashboard instruments for proper function.
• Assemblies weights up to 10000 lbs. with appropriate handling equipment such as crane dollies etc. provided.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

• Use of simple arithmetic and measuring instruments such as caliper scale and mechanical experience.
