As a Armed Security Officer Retail Store - Uvalde Rdin Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and respond to situations with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid drivers license and Level III Armed Certification. Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring reliable team that acts with integrity.

21 Years of Age
Active Armed Guard Card/License

3 Years Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5 Years Armed Security Experience

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients customers and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner coordinating with store leadership and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas receiving areas parking lots and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points delivery areas and employee entrances; verify authorized access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents observations and patrol activities accurately and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement corrections or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
