Job Summary

VETS Securing America is seeking experienced Armed Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment at a school campus in Plano TX. The ideal candidate is professional dependable and capable of maintaining a strong security presence while providing excellent customer service to staff students and visitors.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and respond appropriately to security incidents.
• Control access to the property by verifying authorized personnel and visitors.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols throughout the assigned shift.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems as assigned.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents in accordance with company policies and site procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident activity and daily reports.
• Maintain a professional appearance and interact courteously with staff students visitors and the public.
• Enforce site rules and security procedures while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of2 years of Armed Security experiencerequired.
• Minimum of2 years of Customer Service experiencerequired.
• Minimum of2 years of experience working in a school environment or a similar settingrequired.
• ActiveTexas Level III Commissioned Security LicenseorLevel IV Personal Protection Licenserequired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain alert professional and dependable throughout the workday.

Required Equipment

Applicants must provide their own:

• Duty firearm
• Level II (or higher) retention holster
• Minimum of three (3) magazines
• Duty belt
• Minimum of four (4) belt keepers
