As an Armed Security Officer Government Building Control Accessin Bronx NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government office location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a government office location.
• Monitor access points verify authorized entry maintain visitor records and help protect restricted work areas and sensitive financial documents.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility surrounding property entrances and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services as appropriate.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws licensing requirements Allied Universal policies and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
