As a Armed Security Officer Full Time Clearance Eligible in Adelanto CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will help maintain a secure environment by controlling access monitoring activity conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out access-control procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points verify credentials and authorization manage visitor entry processes and maintain accurate access-related documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents access concerns alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas access points and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities incidents and policy-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess at least six months of armed security-related law enforcement or military experience.
• Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
