Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents alarms disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds parking areas entry points and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required controlling entry and assisting with visitor direction in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation including incident reports patrol activity and observations and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
