The Area Manager oversees the Branch Manager to assist and support in the overall sales operational performance employee recruitment development and conduct of all assigned Retail Branches. This position will provide oversight for multiple branch locations including Costa Mesa Long Beach Laguna Hills Brea Newport Beach and Palm Desert. The Area Manager -Retail BranchBank is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

This position requires the individual to work in an office environment independently and with minimal supervision.
The individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Activities related to management operations sales leadership and community relations.
Ensuring effective execution of branch operations sales initiatives and business development activities.
Supporting compliance with applicable banking policies procedures and regulations.
Providing leadership and guidance to employees to achieve organizational goals.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and community partners.

Required qualifications for the position include:

Bachelors degree in Banking Finance Business Administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of directly related work experience.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive branch operations and/or sales management experience in the financial services or banking industry.
A minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
Solid technology skills including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook Word Excel SharePoint and PowerPoint) and banking software applications.
Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage workloads and instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines and goals.
Excellent customer service relationship management and business development skills.
Knowledge of marketing sales financial managerial and leadership principles with a broad understanding of banking operations practices policies products and applicable regulations.
Excellent problem-solving decision-making critical-thinking and strategic-thinking skills with strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to analyze trends processes and procedures and develop innovative and effective solutions to improve performance.
Strong overall business acumen with the ability to understand and support the direction priorities and goals of the organization.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to present a positive and professional image collaborate effectively with diverse teams and achieve results through the efforts of others.
Flexibility to travel regionally as required.
Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate Range: $120500 - $160500/year salary

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
