Architectural Designer

This role is an excellent opportunity for an emerging design professional who is passionate about architecture eager to learn and excited to collaborate with experienced architects and multidisciplinary teams. As an Entry-Level Designer you will support a variety of project types through all phases of design and documentation gaining valuable hands-on experience while developing your technical and design skills.

Working alongside industry-leading professionals you will contribute to design development prepare project deliverables assist with technical documentation and help bring innovative architectural solutions to life. Our Ohio practice - anchored by large studios in Columbus and Cleveland - is one of the most established and highest-performing BP practices in AECOM s West Region. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Participate in high-energy collaborative team and project environments
• Provide design and documentation support on projects of various sizes type and complexity
• Produce rapid visualization of design concepts and assist with building presentations to clients
• Developing iterative solutions for a variety of design working under supervision by senior design staff
• Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations
• Coordinates design activities with other engineering disciplines
• Participate in design through all phases from concept to construction administration.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS in Architecture None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Due to the nature of the work U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Masters in architecture
• Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling; Revit Sketchup and/or Rhino desired
• Proficiency in Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign
• Desire to actively work toward architectural licensure
• LEED Accreditation
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
