SunSoftOnline is hiring an Applications Developer (SQL / .NET / AI Agent Developer) for an Arizona state agency.

Requirements before applying: Arizona residency with your city on your resume U.S. citizen or green card holder no sponsorship W2 only no C2C.

REQUIRED:

• SQL - Azure SQL and SQL Server advanced query writing and optimization stored procedures indexing triggers
  
• .NET - C# Visual Studio OOP and UI design
  
• Experience building AI agents. This must appear on your resume.
  
• Bachelors degree plus 8 years of SQL web development and analysis experience (or equivalent)
  

Preferred: OpenAI Python scripting Agile methodology.

The work: designing developing and optimizing complex Azure SQL databases. Leading database projects and troubleshooting performance issues. Building and maintaining AI agents: autonomous multi-agent systems that reason plan execute tasks and collaborate with other systems and humans including prompt engineering and RAG pipelines. Maintaining and supporting Microsoft Azure App Services and C# .NET applications. Data warehousing and ETL. Mentoring junior developers. Writing technical documentation.

Also useful: RESTful APIs Azure DevOps Microsoft OpenAI framework AI-driven development with Copilot or Claude SDLC proficiency.

The facts: $67/hr W2 hybrid in Phoenix at 1400 W. Washington St Mon-Fri 8-5 starts October 26 2026 six months in-person interview in Phoenix within a week of the close HireRight background check and drug screening.
