Applications and Systems Engineering Group Manager

• Recruiting Developing and Mentoring talent including development engineers and applications engineers with unique expertise spanning multiple target industries and geographies.
• Build and maintain the teams overall expertise in Emerson Test & Measurement equipment and their applications.
• Collaborate with Business Managers Marketing Sales & R&D to align the teams execution to growth strategy and short-term business needs.
• Engage with sales to drive customer engagements through mutual understanding and prioritization of efforts to achieve shared business goals.
• Manage ambiguity and drive change management as business strategy evolves.
• Drive engineering execution excellence.
• Handle special projects or tasks assigned by management.

• Bachelors degree
• 5 years of experience in Engineering
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%) both domestic and international
• General test and measurement knowledge
• Only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens lawful permanent residents or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR 120) may be considered.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering
• Experience with project management and working with remote teams
• 5 years of team or project management experience
• LabVIEW programming skills and any NI hardware and software experience
• 3 years experience managing an engineering application or technical sales team
