Job Description:
As a MuleSoft Integration Architect you will lead the design and implementation of complex enterprise integration solutions acting as the primary technical authority for integration strategy and execution. You will work hands-on across architecture development and platform operations ensuring scalable secure and high performance API-led integrations while preparing teams for large-scale enterprise system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and develop integration architecture for enterprise initiatives and projects
- Serve as the primary technical consultant for integration strategies and solutions
- Lead design and implementation of API-led architectures using MuleSoft
- Create high-level and detailed technical designs for complex integrations
- Perform hands-on development and validate implementation approaches
- Establish and enforce development standards coding guidelines and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and validate deliverables of development team members
- Configure and manage build and release pipelines source control and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot complex platform integration and infrastructure issues
- Develop reporting and monitoring tools for auditing and performance tracking
- Support testing activities including UAT setup and validation processes
- Mentor team members on architecture development practices and problem resolution
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- 6 years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience
- Expert-level experience designing and implementing API-led integration architectures
- Strong experience with Mule 4 and DataWeave 2.0 or higher
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems including SAP platforms
- Strong background in integration design technical documentation and architecture governance
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines version control and secure credential management
- Strong understanding of security logging monitoring and policy management
- Proven ability to validate requirements estimate effort and deliver complex solutions
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers in integration best practices
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $70.00 to $100.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
