Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer/Lead for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano TX. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This is a senior-level role for an experienced Java Developer/Lead with a strong background in the payments domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis hands-on programming with Java and Springboot and working within a continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. This position involves both onshore and offshore team coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Serve in a Developer/Lead capacity for enterprise applications
• Review requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis
• Assist with offshore and onshore task coordination
• Work within a DevOps environment focused on continuous delivery and integration

Requirements:

• 8 years of hands-on experience in a Developer/Lead capacity
• Solid computer programming experience with Java/J2EE SQL Spring Springboot Webservices (REST and SOAP) and HTML
• Experience with DevOps continuous delivery and continuous integration
• Knowledge of transaction processing JaxB JMS JDBC Weblogic JBOSS and MQ
• Strong understanding of core Java (streams files collections)
• Experience with IBM MQ or Kafka and Oracle databases
• Familiarity with the Payments Domain Agile methodologies and Containers
• Strong technical skills and end-to-end understanding of application architecture

Desired skills:

• Drools knowledge would be a plus

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
