Job Summary
Job Summary for IT Low-Code/No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester (Mendix):
- Remote contract position (working Arizona hours open to US candidates approx. 3 months with possible extension).
- Support software development for the State of Arizona using the Mendix low-code/no-code platform.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather requirements design systems develop test and implement applications.
- Participate in design sessions to enhance operational systems business processes and reporting.
- Analyze and document business processes including current-state and future-state workflows business rules and process flow diagrams.
- Configure and develop Mendix applications:
- Create microflows nanoflows domain models UI components and integrations.
- Prepare and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test case creation and stakeholder coordination.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance within Mendix applications.
- Assist with pre-go-live testing and quickly address issues as they arise.
- Participate in status meetings with agency clients and internal teams.
- Maintain project documentation across development implementation and transition phases.
- Report progress risks and action items to the Scrum Master/Project Manager.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and support defect resolution.
- Other duties as assigned to support project and team needs.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Mendix preferred).
- Application development testing and deployment in Agile/Scrum settings.
- Familiarity with JIRA for backlog management and sprint planning.
- Experience working as part of a Scrum team.
- SQL Server querying reporting and diagnostics.
- Understanding of PCI compliance standards.
- Automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong documentation communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to support high-visibility time-sensitive public-sector projects.
