Job Summary

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Aircraft Component Technician for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This full-time onsite position will troubleshoot repair and service rotary wing aircraft components and may perform inspections. The role requires the ability to interpret technical documentation use test equipment and maintain FAA-required records manuals and inspection forms.

Required Skills

  • A&P license required or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting repairing and servicing rotary wing aircraft components.
  • Ability to interpret and use various test equipment.
  • Ability to work from wiring diagrams and technical maintenance manuals.
  • Ability to maintain and create FAA-required records manuals and inspection forms.
  • Ability to demonstrate prior relevant work history.
  • Must participate in the FAA Drug Abatement Program.

What Youll Do

  • Troubleshoot repair and service rotary wing aircraft components.
  • Perform inspections as assigned.
  • Use various test equipment to support troubleshooting and repair activities.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and technical maintenance manuals.
  • Maintain and create required FAA records manuals and inspection forms.
  • Perform work in an FAA safety-sensitive role.
  • Work onsite full time.
  • Perform work requiring access to ECI information.
