AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology Test & Evaluation Program Mission Support Engineering & Analysis and Training.
As an Anti-Submarine Warfare Technical Trainer you will:
- Conduct material and operational assessments of the Anti-Submarine Warfare suite onboard US Navy Ships.
- Train assess and certify Sailors in the maintenance and operation of the ASW suite
- Provide written and verbal feedback to Senior ship leadership on the material assessment and operational capability of the ASW suite
- Graduate ASW A and C schools
- 20 years of naval shipboard experience
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Requires broad experience in shipboard systems and material condition assessment
- Requires experience in providing training and assessments at the senior technician level (often E8-E9 audience) and ships wardrooms
- Requires recent experience conducting technical briefs at all levels of shipboard managers/technicians
