We are looking for:Anesthesia Veterinary Assistant
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 8a-6:30pm rotating on call weekends
The Anesthesia VeterinaryAssistantperformsdecontamination preparation sterilizationand distribution ofinstrumentationand medical equipmentfor surgeries and proceduresutilizinginfection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.
Whatyoulldo:
- Maintainingproper sterile technique
- Proactive distribution of all necessary equipment and instrumentation for surgeries and procedures
- Collecting used and contaminated equipment instruments and suppliesfor sorting and decontamination
- Accurately handleand carefor instruments includingappropriate selectionof cleaning agents lubricants examination for function identification and assembly
- Preparing and packing decontaminated supplies for sterilization
- Operationmaintenance and troubleshootingof sterilization equipment
- Assembling disassembling and disinfecting operating and procedure rooms
Who you are:
- Minimum 2-year veterinary experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effectivecommunicationand organizationalskills.
- Ability to prioritize timemanage andcritically think.
- Capability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
