The Apple Neural Engine Software team develops the compiler and runtime for machine learning accelerators on Apple Silicon.
In our ANE software team we are dedicated to providing hardware acceleration using the Apple Neural Engine to enable real time low power and high performance execution of Deep Learning workloads. Our success is the result of very dynamic people working in an environment which cultivates creativity partnership and cross-functional collaboration.
Analyze and implement software interfacing with the hardware for artificial intelligence applications across a wide range of Apple product platformsnDevelop software across our framework driver and firmwarenCollaborate closely with model teams to support new machine learning models on our hardwarenWork cross functionally with hardware and software teams to resolve issuesnConduct performance profiling and diagnostics using and developing specialized toolsnEngage with QA teams
BS and a minimum of 10 years experience with system software developmentnExperience with compiler developmentnExcellent programming skills in C C or Python
MS or PhD in computer science machine learning or related fieldnExperience in low level software architecture modeling or validationnFamiliarity with AI networks for example CNN transformer and diffusion model architectures and their performance characteristicsnProficiency with profiling and optimizing complex softwarenExperience with SoC low level software development distributed computing or hardware accelerationnStrong background in data science and statistical methods with demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and present complex insights clearlynExperience with MLIRnExperience with SwiftnStrong written and verbal communication skills
