Were seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our environmental laboratory team in Reading PA.

In this role youll play a key part in delivering high-quality analytical results while working hands-on with advanced instrumentation such as GC-MS and LC-MS/MS. Youll interpret complex analytical data troubleshoot methods and instrumentation support method development and optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the laboratory. Youll also help maintain strong QA/QC standards investigate issues through root cause analysis and corrective action and ensure results are accurate defensible and compliant with established requirements. What Youll Do

• Perform organic analysis using GC-MS LC-MS/MS and other applicable analytical instrumentation and methodologies
• Generate accurate defensible data in compliance with QA/QC standards and client requirements
• Document and manage analytical data in LIMS ensuring traceability and regulatory compliance
• Support method development validation optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and analytical methods and support investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Perform instrument calibrations quality control checks and preventative maintenance
• Support internal and external audits including preparation and response to findings
• Develop review and update SOPs to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with training and supporting laboratory staff on methods instrumentation and procedures
• Communicate analytical results and provide technical interpretation as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support laboratory and client needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry Environmental Science or related scientific field
• 5 years of professional hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation including GC-MS LC-MS/MS and related systems
• Demonstrated experience with QA/QC analysis analytical data review root cause analysis corrective action method development and CAPA
• Proficient in LIMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word and Outlook)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time on-site role; MondayFriday 8 AM 4:30 PM
• Flexibility to work extended hours evenings or weekends as needed
• Routine handling of environmental samples (including wastewater and soil) and laboratory chemicals; appropriate PPE is provided and required
