Job Summary
Purpose and Impact:
Amentum provides mission critical intelligence counterintelligence counterterrorism digital forensics and threat finance analysis across multi-functional teams supporting a global mission. Our analysts directly support the USACIC mission of Army CI/CT support through expert language and intelligence professionals. We employ teaming concepts in a fast-paced mission cycle providing analysts with the ability to operationalize intelligence throughout the world in near real-time.
Amentum is seeking experienced intelligence analysts to conduct research and analysis and produce finished intelligence products and responses to RFIs on foreign intelligence and technology protection-related threats to the US Army and the DoD worldwide. This role conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess interpret forecast and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature and provides all-source analytic support to collections operations investigations and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. The position directly supports the Armys Counterintelligence global mission through coordinating intelligence support.
Work Schedule: Position is Monday Friday 40 hours per week with core hours between 9am-3pm daily.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide all-source analytic support to collections operations investigations and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
- Provide support to CI investigation through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community.
- Provide record checks data research and social networking analysis through the use of intelligence and law enforcement databases and search engines.
- Provide in-depth research regarding biographical intelligence in order to aid investigations support subject interviews and case development.
- Conduct research using social networking tools digital mapping programs and law enforcement database and research tools to include Open Source (OSINT) and classified searches.
- Analyze intelligence information to assess developments trends and threat implications through comprehensive knowledge of intelligence threat analysis to include forecasting and/or other analytical methodologies.
- Analyze terrorist and FIE threats to US Army Forces programs and operations.
- Provide recommendations on techniques and innovative methods employed in threat analysis and protection.
- Research and analyze military political economic technical and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments.
- Identify intelligence gaps and assist in the development of intelligence collection programs.
- Advise team leaders and chain of command on intelligence findings.
- Plan coordinate and synthesize research to prepare all-source intelligence products and responses.
- Ensure products fulfill DA DoD and national level intelligence requirements.
- Brief intelligence assessments and positions to senior Battalion Army and civilian personnel.
- Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of SOPs for assigned tasks.
- Conduct all tasks in support of operations under AR 381-20.
- Assess information from the IC-wide reporting elements to de-conflict information identify the value of reporting assess whether the information addresses requirements and contribute to collection.
- Produce technical analysis white papers and presentations in support of ongoing investigations to identify intelligence gaps and leads for investigations.
- Analytical updates to the Command Group on major investigations.
- Produce analysis white papers and presentations from historical investigations.
- Conduct investigative trend analysis in order to allow Government leadership to focus investigative resources.
- Produce analytical information reports from reviews of investigative and IC database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations and insider threat reports.
- Produce analytical information reports from reviews of Law Enforcement database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations FIE and insider threat reports.
Work Environment Physical Demands and Mental Demands: Office environment with limited physical requirements position does require mental demands to gather and analyze information to support intelligence and operations.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
- A minimum of a bachelors degree and
- Experience as a civilian or military all source intelligence analyst and
- Completed a foundational intelligence analyst course
- Must have at least 14 years of relevant experience with six years of those years in one or more of the following areas:
- Regional experience in one or more of the following areas: China Iran North Korea Russia or functional experience in Threat Finance Cyber Intelligence Analysis.
- Experience as an All-source intelligence analysts in the planning collection and implementation of all intelligence disciplines across the full spectrum of operations that includes imagery signals measurements human and open-source data into information to support national defense. Candidate should have a proven track record of fusing multidisciplined tools and databases for all-source analysis production.
- Masters degree in a relevant field and 12 years relevant experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years or
- Bachelors degree and 14 years of relevant experience or
- US government clearance: Current Top Secret/SCI
Clearance Required:
- TS//SCI
Minimum Education:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field and 14 years relevant intelligence analysis experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years or
- Masters degree and 12 years of relevant experience.
Minimum Years of Experience:
- Based on education listed above
Required Certifications:
- Graduate of in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multi-discipline intelligence support and multi-domain operations.
