As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time Afternoon Shiftin Lihue HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government airport location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and provide professional customer service to travelers staff and visitors. Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors employees and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities public areas parking areas perimeter locations and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials as directed and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol activities incidents and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
