Aircraft Structures Mechanic Lake Charles, LA

Sparta Networking is supporting a leading aviation MRO organization in Lake Charles Louisiana in the hiring of experienced Aircraft Structures Mechanics.

This role supports heavy aircraft modification and conversion programs including structural reinforcements major repairs and large-scale installation projects. The ideal candidate has strong sheet metal experience and is comfortable working in a high-production widebody aircraft environment.

Full-time and contract opportunities available.

• Perform structural repairs and heavy modification installations

• Drill rivet fabricate and fit sheet metal components

• Install reinforcement structures and assemblies

• Interpret engineering drawings and structural repair manuals (SRM)

• Perform skin repairs and structural replacements

• Ensure compliance with FAA and quality standards

• Complete required maintenance documentation

• Minimum 2 years aircraft structures experience

• Heavy modification or MRO experience preferred

• Experience working on commercial aircraft preferred

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Must provide standard tools

• Ability to work flexible shifts

• Must pass background check and drug screening

• $33.00 $42.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Overtime opportunities available
