Position: Aircraft Assembly Technician

Location: BOHEMIA NY (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months Contract (7:00am 3:30pm shift (30-minute lunch))

Position Summary:

• Our major client a leader in aviation technology is offering an exciting opportunity for an Quality Inspector to join our fast-paced and innovative team.
• In this critical role you will support our sustaining business for one of our clients key value streams: Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Integrations (ALCI). As a Quality Inspector you will be at the heart of our quality operations ensuring that production and quality procedures are meticulously followed to ensure 100% quality for our clients customers.
• This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals where you will be responsible for conducting all Quality Inspection and coordination activities in a manner that conforms to company and H&S procedures.

Job Requirements:

• 1st Shift Assembly (BIZJET/ BOEING)
• Seeking motivated individuals who are looking to join a fast paced growing organization to work in the production department doing:
• -Mechanical assembly of raw materials
• -Utilize different hand tools
• -QC Inspections

Qualifications :

• A minimum of a high school diploma /(GED)
• 1-3 years prior assembly experience (able to use small tools ie torque wrench)
• Ability to read blueprints drawings and schematics is a plus.
• Must have the ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to stand the duration of an 8 hour shift.
• 7:00am 3:30pm shift (30-minute lunch)

DRESS CODE:

• Must wear safety glasses
• No sunglasses No hats No shorts or skirts No sagging pants or ripped jeans
• Shoes MUST be closed shoes
