AIML Performance Analysis and Validation Engineer

Here youll do more than join something youll add Silicon Modeling and Development Team in the Graphics and Compute Technologies organization is responsible for capturing and analyzing advanced graphics media and AI/ML use cases and execute them on models of future silicon. We are looking for exceptionally dedicated individuals who possess strong interest in the modeling simulation and analysis of mobile desktop and data center devices.

Our team is seeking extraordinary performance analysis engineers with validation experience who are passionate about providing robust modeling solutions for projecting the performance of machine learning applications on Apple Silicon is an opportunity to shape the architecture of future AI/ML applications at Apple and influence the design of the next generation of hardware platforms.

Build models of applications and platforms and the associated tools used to test the viability of future products and project their and validate important use cases on existing products with respect to performance and reason about performance on open-ended and challenging with cross-functional teams including product hardware architecture software driver firmware frameworks and application teams to define a vision for future products and present analysis define technical requirements of Apples future about the state of the art in AI/ML System-on-Chip (SoC) chip-level architecture and data centers.

Technical BS/MS/PhD or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.n3 years of proven industry or research experience in building performance models and performing validation of AI/ML applications running on dedicated understanding of Computer Architecture including processing units interconnects and memory ability to build models of applications and platforms characterize their performance and reason about understanding of performance trade-offs in distributed computing proficiency in Python and strong software engineering understanding of machine learning fundamentals and familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch JAX CoreML).nStrong data reasoning communication and collaboration skills.

Hands on experience with implementing AI/ML applications with state-of-the-art architectures such as CNN transformer and diffusion models and analyzing their performance in modeling data center in building simulation collaborating in large cross functional projects.
