This role sits within ABBs Robotics business a leading global robotics company. Were entering an exciting new chapter as weve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

As an intern you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABBs operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in San Jose CA.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript
• Build web applications technologies ( Core Blazor)
• Implement modern frontend frameworks ( or Angular)
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into functional clean code
• Write maintainable code following best practices and participate in code reviews
• Debug and troubleshoot UI issues across different browsers and devices
• Learn Agile/Scrum methodologies in a real-world environment

Technologies Youll Work With

Frontend Frameworks: - / Angular - TypeScript

.NET Technologies: - Blazor (WebAssembly or Server) - Core MVC / Razor Pages - SignalR for real-time communication

Core Skills: - HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript (ES6) - Responsive & mobile-first design - Git version control - Web accessibility (WCAG)

Qualifications for the role:

Education: - Currently enrolled in undergraduate degree (Computer Science Software Engineering IT or related)

Must Have: - Solid understanding of HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript - Basic knowledge Framework or Core - Familiarity with Git/GitHub - Strong problem-solving abilities - Eager to learn and work in a team

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
