Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic dependable and caring After Care Lead Teacher to join our after-school program for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children creating a positive environment and leading engaging activities that make the end of the school day fun and meaningful
Schedule: MondayFriday mid-August through the end of May
Hours: Approximately 3:00 p.m. 5:00/5:30 p.m.
Compensation: $24-$28 per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Supervise and actively engage with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade during the after-school program.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate games crafts STEM activities outdoor play and other enrichment opportunities.
- Foster a safe welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels supported.
- Encourage positive behavior and model kindness respect and responsibility.
- Build positive relationships with students while promoting teamwork and social development.
- Assist with daily routines including attendance snack time transitions and dismissal.
- Set up and clean up activity spaces and materials.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors families and fellow staff members.
- Follow all school policies and safety procedures.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
- Enthusiastic energetic patient and dependable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Comfortable leading both indoor and outdoor activities.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

The pay for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 an hour. Although this is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any wage differential that may exist for the position does not relate to sex gender or gender identity but relates solely to a seniority system a merit system or relevant education training and/or experience. Medical Dental Vision and Life Insurance benefit programs are available as is a 403(b) retirement plan. Eligibility for all benefit programs is defined by the applicable plan document.
