Responsibilities
- Will have an annual order intake budget developed by employees forecast and managements input.
- Review / understand technical documents (RFQs technical specifications operational work scopes budgets etc) to support the structure and creation of commercial proposals.
- Specific end user/customers will be defined and agreed upon
- Review completed ADs to ensure for accuracy / completeness to support operations
- Convert operational information (scopes / budgets) to commercial proposal format per standard practices / formats or as requested from customer
- Provide / coordinate technical support to general sales organization in overall quotation process
- Pricing recommendations review / understand financial information in order to provide pricing recommendations and justification.
- Review and understand workscope costs / budgets (labor materials)
- Review operational trends and performance (scope / cost deltas)
- Review customer historical data / trends (scopes / pricing)
- Understand and account for market / competitive data (market price competitive bid competition etc)
- Review and hold records for successful and unsuccessful Sulzer GT opportunities based on the opportunity type and turbine model
- Provide cost / price analysis information for proposals as needed (i.e. margin sheets)
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelors Degree and/or Previous experience and/or technical proficiency in the turbo machinery industry to include knowledge of aero-derivative turbomachinery repair (steam and gas turbines centrifugal axial and process screw compressors expanders and other associated high-speed rotating equipment such as generators pumps gearboxes etc.)
- Proficient use of Microsoft office applications (Word Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Time management skills
- Candidate must be a team player at all times and be prepared to support the goals of all of Sulzer RES
