Lead environmental compliance activities and support achievement of environmental objectives and goals across operations maintenance projects and emergency response efforts.
Handle environmental permitting compliance tracking and regulatory reporting for air water waste land management Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) requirements while providing guidance procedures and support resources.
Coordinate regulatory inspections audits agency interactions emissions testing and fugitive emissions monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance.
Support emergency response activities through Incident Command System (ICS) including directing remedial actions advising on environmental regulations and technologies and maintaining required certifications.
Develop and deliver environmental awareness initiatives training programs outreach materials and resources to promote compliance and environmental stewardship.
Lead post-incident monitoring remediation regulatory reporting and closure activities while actively identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
Who You Are:
Bachelors degree in environment or related field.
4 years of environmental experience preferably in pipeline industry and infrastructure sectors. For candidates who do not possess a university degree an additional 3-years of related experience is required (total 7 years).
Familiarity with environmental assessment methodologies permitting requirements and environmental protection best practices.
Strong organizational time management and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and all organizational levels.
Strategic innovative and self-motivated approach to problem-solving with high integrity alignment to Enbridge values and knowledge of Enbridges business and culture considered an asset.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with a significant amount (40%) of regular travel.
Physical Requirements:
Included but not limited to: Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Base Salary:
Base salary ranges from $90000 $110000 USD for U.S. locations based upon candidates experience skills and internal equity.
Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
