Job Summary

The Advising Team Coach is responsible for assessing and coaching the school advisors performance to meet key performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis. This is executed by data monitoring reviewing recorded calls and real-time coaching throughout the partnership with the Assistant/Associate Director the Advising Team Coach ensures team members contribute to school-specific goals assigned by university leadership.

Salary: $45000 annually

Essential duties:

  • The Advising Team Coach is assigned a specific team of Advisors to coach and hold accountable for their performance goals.
  • Trains him/herself in program knowledge system knowledge and best practices in customer service and Advising. Then he/she develops training presentations and activities to help Advisors grow in these areas.
  • Analyzes data identifies performance gaps and provides feedback to Advisors in real time and in routine one-on-one meetings.
  • Documents daily weekly and monthly feedback to team members to demonstrate a well thought out plan of action and individualized approach to leadership.
  • Prepares additional training for the team and models professional standards that will bring the team to a higher level of Christian professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 6 Months in Enrollment Management or Equivalent

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to coach/motivate a team to performance metrics
  • Ability to remain level-headed in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills
