JOB TITLE:Advancement Services and Data Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Advancement Services & Data Manager is responsible for two primary areas within the area of philanthropic development at Evangel University. The first includes the optimization and day-to-day management of the software used in the Advancement area (i.e. CRM software etc.). This includes maximizing the effectiveness of the donor database through data management research queries analysis strategy prospecting and reporting. The second area includes managing a variety of advancement services and programs such as the annual Presidents Gathering event. Currently work is performed under general supervision of the President.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advancement Data & Systems:

• Maintain CRM data integrity through regular maintenance audits and data-hygiene initiatives.
• Maintain effective fundraising and financial processes and practices within the CRM.
• Identify and implement appropriate AI tools and best practices to improve data management reporting and efficiency.
• Produce fundraising and financial reports and analytics for advancement leadership.
• Train and support staff in the effective use of the CRM.
• Evaluate and improve advancement procedures workflows and systems.
• Collaborate with IT to maintain and optimize the CRM as a strategic advancement resource.
• Coordinate the exchange of advancement information with other university departments.
• Manage special prospect and constituent lists including regional alumni groups.

Prospect Research & Management

• Identify and qualify prospective major donors based on capacity interests relationships and giving potential.
• Conduct prospect research and assign appropriate donor ratings.
• Monitor news alerts and other sources to maintain current prospect and donor profiles.
• Identify relationships and connections among prospects donors alumni and university constituents.
• Identify new prospects for university initiatives and present findings to development leadership.
• Partner with the President Director of Development and gift officers on prospect and donor strategies.
• Support prospect management portfolio development and moves management.
• Collaborate with gift officers on cultivation solicitation and stewardship strategies.
• Develop and refine prospect identification and qualification processes.

Advancement Services

• Assist with development strategies campaigns programs and promotional materials that strengthen donor and alumni relationships.
• Assist with donor and alumni correspondence including appeals acknowledgements and thank-you communications.
• Serve as a resource and liaison for select alumni and other internal and external constituents.
• Collaborate with Marketing to maintain and update Advancement webpages for Evangel University and the seminary.
• Proofread and edit Advancement reports communications and other documents.
• Participate in committees and special assignments as requested.
• Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Assist the Director of Alumni Engagement and Director of Development with special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the President.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelors degree in business marketing management communications IT preferred.
2. Preferred 2 years of experience on Raisers Edge or similar CRM platform.
3. Ability to work in a stressful and deadline-driven enviornment.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills.
6. The ability to power through challenges.
7. Willingness to maintain professional demeanor and wardrobe; punctual; consistent attendance.
8. Be willing to take advantage of professional learning opportunities that will increase his or her knowledge and skill base.
