Requirements
- Current active and unrestricted Florida APRN license
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient/ambulatory primary care experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- HIV care experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical assessment diagnostic and medication management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient setting
- Assess diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment and care plans
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with current clinical guidelines and Florida regulations
- Order review and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Monitor patients response to treatment and make adjustments as clinically appropriate
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including medical histories and physical examinations
- Provide patient education regarding medications treatment plans preventive care and overall health
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
- Coordinate care with physicians behavioral health providers specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all ethical legal and professional standards
- Provide appropriate follow-up and ongoing management of patients health conditions
