POSITION SUMMARY Advanced Project Management Intern

The Project Management (PM) internship is open to students currently enrolled in a four year institution. The PM Intern will assist in the planning and management of software development projects and implement Project Management process improvement. The PM Intern will gain experience in multiple aspects of Project Management across all phases of the software development lifecycle. They will also have the opportunity to develop skills in communication organization leadership and data analysis.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES Advanced Project Management Intern

  • Interaction and collaboration with full-time Project Managers on the management of software development projects.
  • Create initial project plans and update existing plans.
  • Monitor the execution of in-flight projects.
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with internal team members and leadership.
  • Support Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) process initiatives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in a four year institution in a related program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Major GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Experience planning organizing or leading events clubs or class projects
