Overview:

Join Sentara Medical Group as an Advanced Practice Provider supporting our Electrophysiology Cardiology service line. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled collaborative team of physicians and APPs while providing high quality care to adult EP patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a surgical and procedural focused role with meaningful autonomy and a strong support structure.

Position Highlights

• Full time schedule four ten hour days Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  Inpatient and outpatient role with approximately 70 percent inpatient and 30 percent outpatient responsibilities
• Average weekly patient volumes include 20 patients in the clinic and 50 patients in the hospital
• Electrophysiology focused care including first assist responsibilities
• Procedures include cardioversions and loop implants performed independently first assist in ablations and performing access and closure independently
• Weekend rounding required every fifth weekend. Hours are Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Call requirements: phone based only with no in-house coverage (1 day every 3 weeks).
• Team consists of 9 physicians and 14 Advanced Practice Providers
• Position covers three Sentara locations: Sentara Careplex Hospital the Port Warwick practice and the Williamsburg practice

  We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $115315.20 - $312000.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted it is based on a full-time colleague working 2080 hours annually.
