Job Summary
Summary of Position:The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for working with the Director of Social Services to manage the resident flow admissions process and marketing process of Hale Ho Aloha. Responsibilities include presenting information regarding our services to potential residents and families that will result in the admission of appropriate residents. This includes giving tours handling all admission inquiries and maintaining a professional relationship with other facilities hospitals and other referral Duties:Collaborate with the Director of Social Services and Nursing Department to review and assess admission inquiries responding to referral sources in a timely the admissions process from initial inquiry through admission working closely with Social Services Nursing residents families hospitals physicians case managers and other referral and maintain professional relationships with physicians case managers social workers discharge planners and other healthcare partners to support referrals admissions and census and update marketing promotional presentation and admissions the values of Hale Ho Aloha ensuring the organizations mission and vision are consistently reflected in all aspects of the admissions with the Director of Social Services to promote resident satisfaction and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality of care in a compassionate respectful environment that honors each residents needs and involvement that promotes the Hale Ho Aloha brand and markets potential resident admissionsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelors degree in healthcare social services business marketing communications or a related field experience in healthcare admissions social services senior living or customer service experience preferred. Experience with patient/resident admissions referrals case management discharge planning or healthcare marketing is a verbal and written communication skills organizational skills and ability to build positive relationships with residents families healthcare professionals and referral partners. Familiarity with medical terminology and Microsoft Office applications possess a valid drivers license reliable personal vehicle and proof of current auto insurance to attend occasional off-site client visits and marketing events.
