As an Administrator in Training / AIT you willbe responsible to learn the duties of the acting Administrator and assist themin managing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with currentfederal state and local guidelines/regulations. You will also ensure the highest degree ofquality care can be provided to our residents at all times. Through thisprogram you will enhance your knowledge of our culture and the managerial andproblem-solving skills necessary to provide quality care at Americare SeniorLiving.
The AIT agrees and understands that they aremaking a commitment to work for Americare Senior Living for a period of two (2)years in a location determined by the addition the AIT understandsthat during this program extensive travel and relocation may be required. Fornewly licensed Administrators as well as AITs who successfully obtaintheir NHA/RCAL or equivalent statelicensure Americare Senior Living will assign them as needed to meet businessneeds. This may include an Administrator position or project based assignmentwith our regional support team.
Qualifications:
- Minimumeducation/experience is determined by individual
- Administrator/Manager in Trainingparticipant requirements:
- Kansas minimum: Bachelors Degree
- Missouri minimum: Associate degree in heath-care administration at least 21 semester hours of course work directly in health-care administration
- Must be able to pass the federal as well as state Nursing Home Administrators exams
- Maintain CEUs to retain and earn additional education as needed.
