This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS) a business group within HIIs Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.

HII - Mission Technologies has an opportunity available for an Administrative Support Specialist who will support daily office operations welcome visitors maintain security protocols and assist with basic data and workflow tasks. Youll be part of a team that supports realworld government missions while getting exposure to a fastpaced environment that includes policy work along with other key operations.
This is a full-time role that requires daily onsite attendance located in Arlington VA. The opportunity requires applicants to have a secret level security clearance.
Compensation for this position will be based on a variety of factors including the qualifications education experience skills internal equity and market conditions. Final salary will be determined after consideration of all relevant factors in accordance with company policy.
Level 1 - $34056 - $55973
Level 2 - $45502 - $65000
- Provide general administrative support to the team including greeting visitors answering simple questions and helping maintain office organization.
- Remind individuals entering the workspace to follow security rules including turning off or putting away phones.
- Collect and track information from different sources and keep records updated.
- Review and organize data to support team reporting and daily operations.
- Assist with improving basic work processes to help the team stay organized and efficient.
- Other duties as assigned.
Level 1 - High School Diploma or equivalent and 0 years experience.
Level 2 - High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Strong attention to detail and basic dataentry skills.
- Comfort working with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to follow security guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication and customerservice skills.
- Ability to stay organized and handle multiple small tasks at once.
- Clearance - a SECRET clearance is required.
- Experience working in a government defense or GovCon environment.
- Prior administrative or officesupport experience.
- Familiarity with basic business or policy processes.
