As a Part-Time Administrative Assistant you will help keep our office running smoothly by maintaining a clean organized and well-stocked workplace. The role covers front desk support office supply and equipment upkeep kitchen and common area maintenance and assistance with company events.
What are the core responsibilities for the role
- Cover the front desk during lunch breaks and staff vacations
- Stock paper and supplies in all copiers and nearby bookshelves and wipe down copiers regularly
- Assist with monthly fridge clean-out including disposing of unmarked or expired food and sanitizing as needed
- Manage recycling bins break down extra cardboard and help restock office and breakroom supplies when requested
- Clean the soda and coffee machines regularly
- Wipe down conference room tables and chairs regularly
- Run errands as needed
- Assist with setup and support for large company events
Qualifications Skills and Competencies:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Reliable punctual and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with light physical tasks (lifting paper boxes wiping surfaces cleaning appliances etc.)
- Able to work independently and follow a recurring maintenance schedule
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Prior administrative or office support experience preferred but not required
- Professional and courteous when interacting with employees and visitors
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and last-minute requests
