  • Pay Rate: $28.00$35.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Standard working hours (8 AM start); occasional overtime approximately 2 hours on average when requested

Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant Cost Accounting provides real-time cost visibility budgeting accuracy and financial discipline during the planning and execution phases of a scheduled plant turnaround. This role bridges the gap between field execution and corporate accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Post-Turnaround & Reporting

  • Final Cost Report: Reconcile all invoices against field-verified data to produce a final expenditure report.
  • Variance Analysis: Explain why the event went over or under budget (e.g. Scope creep in Unit 3 led to a 10% overrun).
  • Benchmarking: Capture data to improve the accuracy of the next TAR cycle.
Required Skills
  • 5 years of cost control/financial background
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications
  • Organized and structured work approach
  • Technical mastery of Excel (Pivot Table)
Education Requirements
  • Associate degree or 5 years of equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of cost control or financial background
