Mitchell Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Sociology Instructor to join our General Education team for the Fall 2026 semester. This position is open until filled.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Sociology or a Masters degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Sociology.
Ability to successfully pass a state and federal criminal background check.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Prior post-secondary teaching experience is preferred though individuals with a strong academic background and an aptitude for teaching will be considered.
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively adapt readily to instructional changes and collaborate well within a departmental team.
Excellent time management organization and attention to detail.
Assist in fulfilling the educational goals curriculum objectives and core mission of the General Education department and Mitchell Technical College.
