Job Summary:
The Department of Humanities at Columbia College seeks an adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach HIST 121: American History to 1877 during the Spring 2027 semester. This is a U.S. history class covering 1877 to the present day. It is an in-seat synchronous general education class taught on our home campus in Columbia Missouri. Classes start on 11 January and this class meets Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 10:10 to 11:05 a.m.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Masters Degree in History with graduate coursework in U.S. history content. College teaching experience preferred. Graduate transcripts must be submitted with application addition please submit an updated CV and an application letter which discusses teaching experience and degree information.
