Adjunct Instructor-Philosophy
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences in the College of Arts of Sciences at the Mount Mercy University campus located in Cedar Rapids IA seeks qualified applicants to serve as an adjunct instructor in Philosophy for in-person courses in Fall 2026. Adjunct instructors will teach The Examined Life designed as a students first philosophy course.
A masters degree in philosophy or a closely related field is required. Preference may be given to applicants with prior teaching experience.
