SUMMARY/SCOPE:We are looking for a part-time adjunct faculty to teach Computer Science courses.The Computer Science department is in the Holland School of Sciences and Mathematics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adjunct instructor for computer science courses that include topics suchas Java programming data structures assembly language web programming (frontand back end) networking and cybersecurity.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

At least a Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Computer ScienceCybersecurity or similar discipline.

None are required for this position at this time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Thejob is sedentary in nature. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods oftime while performing office and computer operations.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Thisposition is a part-time/temp adjunct position (no more than 29 hours per week)with teaching load at the Hardin-Simmons University campus.

Mustbe a resident of the state of Texas.
