ADAS Test DriverOperator

 Job description

• Carry out various driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.
• Drive and operate vehicles across pre-defined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.
• Follow all traffic laws safety protocols and company driving policies
• Monitor and evaluate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) function performance during real-world driving conditions
• Provide and document user-level feedback on ADAS feature usability effectiveness and driver experience
• Maintain appropriate level of vigilance when ADAS features are active (avoid over-reliance)
• Understand and stay updated on operational constraints.
• Communicate clearly with other Driver or Operator while vehicle is in operation.
• Monitor and manage onboard data collection systems during vehicle operation
• Verify proper functioning of sensors cameras and recording equipment
• Document test runs conditions and any incidents or observations in real-time
• Upload organize and categorize collected data according to established protocols
• Perform quality checks on collected data to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Flag data anomalies or system issues for technical review
• Perform preparatory activities before shift including but not limited to inspection of the vehicle before and after shift completion.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Understand limitations of ADAS functions and intervene when necessary
• Follow instructions provided by project manager.
• Perform reporting activities daily and when required by the program manager.
• Maintain all documentation with utmost confidentiality.
• Support the acquisition of data and implement proper tagging techniques to document objects obstacles and anomalies found during data acquisition.

Knowledge/skills requirements

• Practical understanding of how to activate deactivate and operate common ADAS features
• Knowledge of typical ADAS user interfaces controls and warning indicators
• Computers and data management software
• Knowledge of typical ADAS user interfaces controls and warning indicators

Duration This project is expected to last 4-5 months with consecutive projects thereafter.

Work location will be in Ann Arbor MI

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 5 years of licensed driving experience
• Must have current Drivers License and a clean driving record for a minimum of 7 years.
• Experience working with ADAS features highly preferred.
• We are a drug free work environment 

Additional Information :

Job Functions:

• Must be physically able to support test preparation and execution in an outdoor environment.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work extended hours and weekends.
• Possess a valid drivers license and clean vehicle driving record.
• Meet all workplace health and safety requirements and practices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds able to drive passenger vehicles up to 8 hours a day.

Schedule:

• Monday to Sunday

• Shifts:

  Morning 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

  Afternoon 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
