Job Summary
TDX Holdings LLCis recruiting for the position ofAccounts Payable (AP) Specialist. This is afull-time regularposition and is located inAnchorage AK. This position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.
This position will perform a variety of Accounting tasks to include; accounts payable processing invoices coding and ensure proper coding of invoices matching source documents securing appropriate approvals keying information into accounting system and printing and distributing checks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all accounts payable for timely and accurate payment.
- Match source documents against invoices and receiving reports.
- Accurately key information into accounting system.
- Process and reconciliation of weekly check runs.
- Secure appropriate approvals.
- Research discrepancies.
- Responsible for daily invoices weekly A/P and performing monthly reconciliation.
- Responsible for preparing back up coding for purchases.
- Responsible for preparing coding and distribution of expense reimbursement and per diem payments to employees.
- Set up vendor accounts and database maintain W-9 files process 1099s.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and statements.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with vendors ensuring timely communication.
- Audit duties to include: maintenance and filing of all vendor documents as well as assisting in data entry for month end and year end closing.
- Process inter-company invoices as required.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least (2) two years of related accounting experience or directly related business school or college course may be substituted equally for experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- Experience in cost accounting beneficial.
- Proficient in Excel Word and PowerPoint MAS 200 data management software and prefer experience working with Viewpoint.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping accounts payable cycle and billing practices.
- Make varied arithmetic computations and tabulations accurately.
- Demonstrate good planning and organizational skills.
