Accounting Office Income Auditor

Job Title: Income AuditorJob Department: AccountingJob Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour Job Summary:As an Accounting Income Auditor you will review verify and reconcile all daily operational revenue; prepare journal entries to ensure complete financial accuracy and compliance with Broadmoor standards. Other duties may be assigned:Audit verify and balance all revenue streams from room food and beverage outlets retail spa and Broadmoor activities against property management systems. Also work with General Cashier on cash and post system-generate figures with actual cash drops credit card settlements promotional gift certificates and gift liability and bank and approve all adjustments rebates voids complimentary rooms and rate overrides to ensure proper strict internal financial controls prepare reports and assist with internal and external daily revenue reports including for subsidiary companies and Seven Falls. Assist the accounting management with month-end closing procedures. Commit to availability generally weekdays the 1st 10th of the month to close prior understanding of Accountings General Ledger (GL) to reconcile stats and post to track gratuities and service charge postings from point-of-sales (POS) researching variances. And review various GL permissions and card access to point-of-sales (POS) system for retail; archive or save subsidiary reports form POS complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines operational procedures safety policies and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoors history estate grounds wilderness properties culinary offerings and retail additional duties and responsibilities as required.
