Location: West Jordan UT (hybrid 1-2 days in office)
Pay: $90000-$100000

About the Role
NOW CFO is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our clients team a well-established growing company with a close-knit family-style culture. This is a true hands-on leadership role where youll run the day-to-day accounting function guide a small and supportive team and be a trusted partner to senior leadership. There is also an opportunity to grow into a Controller role.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close
• Prepare for the annual audit
• Manage cash and complete bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain fixed assets
• Support tax preparation with the outside CPA firm
• Handle multi-state sales tax
• Manage property tax filings (UT WY ID)
• Prepare annual reports and 1099s
• Set up new stores including bank accounts and licenses
• Serve as backup for AP payroll and sales

Must-Haves

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Cash flow analysis experience
• Working knowledge of tax law
• Understanding of payment processes
• Positive attitude

Nice-to-Haves

• Food industry experience
