This role will oversee core operational accounting functions month-end close financial reporting and team/process management.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge leadership ability and experience operating in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly close reconciliations and financial reporting activities
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure timely accurate accounting results
- Review journal entries account analyses and supporting schedules
- Supervise accounting staff and support team development
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
- Partner with leadership on reporting audit support and operational improvements
- Assist with systems optimization and accounting process standardization
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory experience preferred
- Strong experience with core operational accounting functions required
- CPA preferred
- Experience with large ERP systems strongly preferred including NetSuite Sage Intacct Unanet Costpoint or similar
- Strong analytical skills and ability to lead in a hands-on environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
