Job Summary:The Accounting Clerk assists the onsite Accounting Department with daily auditing for sales and cash transactions.

The Details:
Position Type: Year-Round; Part-time
Start Date: as soon as possible
Pay: starting at $15.05/hour commensurate with experience
Schedule: Off-season 2 days (about 16 hours) per week; Peak season 2-4 days per week.

• Assists with accurate daily counts of cashier deposits.
• Assists with preparation of daily cash and check deposits. Verifies accuracy.
• Assists with count and audit of cashier banks Accounting safe and departmental banks.
• Assists with input into the daily sales and cash journal for the daily audit results.
• Assists with input/tracking of daily cashier overages and shortages.
• Assists with tracking random cashier bank audits.
• Answers the phone and helps to resolve any guest disputes and error resolution.
• Processes change order requests employee paycheck cashing and employee petty cash reimbursements.
• Assists with collection daily count and deposit of all vending and pay-on-foot terminal funds.
• Ensures that all departments follow accounting policy and procedures.
• Responsible for confidentiality and adherence to all accounting security and procedural policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous cash handling experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in data entry and administrative office tasks preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
• Ability to understand technical aspects of an accounting office.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on duty and in dealing with both employees and guests.
• Willing to pitch-in and help with unplanned last-minute assignments.
• Must be a positive team player who has the passion to work and take responsibility to follow a task to its final completion.

Physical Requirements include:

• Constantly sitting handling lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 12 pounds.
• Frequently walking reaching outward lifting/carrying 11-50 pounds and pushing/pulling 13-40 pounds.
• Occasionally standing reaching above shoulder bending lifting/carrying 51 pounds and pushing/pulling 41 pounds.
