Accountant Job in Willoughby OH:
Direct Hire Salary Range: $65-90000

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in a hands-on full-cycle accounting role within a manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations of the business including accounts payable and receivable bank and cash reconciliations inventory control and month-end close. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented comfortable working independently and has prior experience in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant Job in Willoughby OH:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Post customer payments and monitor AR aging following up on past due accounts for collection
• Post vendor invoices monitor vendor accounts and process weekly bill pay every Thursday
• Process credit card payments
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and cash reconciliations
• Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and make necessary adjustments
• Support month-end close process
• Generate daily ERP reports for internal customers and provide monthly financial reporting to management
• Manage inventory control including raw materials and finished goods cycle counting
• Process RGAs and provide supporting documentation for auditors

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP systems required Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience is a strong plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable presenting financial information and recommendations to management
